A shiny, ruby-red color. Aromas of red currants, Morello cherries, and other forest fruits. Beautifully integrated hints of wood, vanilla, and soft spices. Pleasantly full-bodied and enjoyable on the palate. The velvety character of Merlot makes it very approachable. A deliciously tasty and long finish. Both an introduction to Bordeaux and a safe bet for the seasoned Bordeaux enthusiast.
Classic meat dishes, stews, prepared foie gras, and a delicious, soft goat cheese but also turkey, quail, and partridge. Versatile dining companion.

A moderate maritime climate with the influence of nearby flowing rivers. The Dordogne provides additional cooling while elongated forests protect the vineyards from cold ocean air.
- soil
-
Sandy soil with white clay. Cultivated organically and treated only with environmentally responsible spraying agents.
- vinification
-
75% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc, and 7% Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes are handpicked and fermented separately in temperature-controlled concrete vats. After malolactic fermentation, the wine further matures in a mix of new and used barrels for 12-14 months. Then follows the blending and bottling process.
