Beautiful intense ruby ​​red color with purple shade. In the nose: intense perfume of ripe fruitssuch as raspberries, black cherries, black currants and with hints of pepper and other herbs. In the mouth, a remarkable structure and solid but pleasant tannin. The finish is very long and beautifully balanced. AWARDS: 91 points from Luca Maroni in 2017.

Climate:
Mediterranean climate with plenty of sunshine, low rain and gentle winters.

Underground:
Sandy soil with sludge and clay in the ground. Vineyard at 200m above sea level, south-west facing.

Vinification:
80% Pugnitello and 20% Syrah. 10% of the Pugnitello is harvested at the end of October in early November as vendange tardive. The vinfication takes place on stainless steel barrels for 15 to 20 days. Ripening of the wine occurs on oak barrels for at least 12 months.
